History
International Schools of Learning Academies - ISLA, was established in the year 2011 in Sagami-Otsuka, Kanagawa-ken, Japan. Our School Headquarters is now located in the city of Zama, Kanagawa-ken, Japan, while our International office is in Frisco,Texas, USA.
In the past decade, ISLA has trained, equipped, and graduated men and women for the work of ministry in diploma, bachelor and master degree levels in partnership with ISOM (International Schools of Ministry). Moreover, ISLA is the first and only Bible college in Japan with ISOM licence to run graduate degree programs in three major languages (English, Japanese and Spanish). As a result of this, ISLA has been richly blessed by the diverse nature of its community of learners from different nations and works of life who individually bring a unique asset to the body of Christ.
The vision of ISLA to bring sound affordable knowledge and education to the doorsteps of every man or woman with a zeal to learn has only just begun. We are on the verge of launching a new ISLA school in Maryland, USA any time soon to further reach and equip people for ministry.
International Schools and Learning Academies is the alma mater of graduates from more than a dozen nations around the world as represented by their flags below. Our alumni is a strong community of Christian leaders who have selflessly contributed to the growth and success of ISLA. The future growth, vision, and legacy of our school rest a lot on the shoulders of our alumni. Hence, the need for alumni like you to continue our legacy cannot be overemphasized.
